Our management team consists of industry experience professionals, with high standards of competency, integrity, and client satisfaction. This gives us the capability of handling many types of projects, including design build projects. Hi-Tech Electric's professional staff, quality work, quality people, high standards of performance and industry knowledge allows Hi-Tech Electric to assist in conceptual estimating and value engineering which are often required to meet project budgeting requirements.
Training is a never-ending process for our employees. National Electrical Code Seminars, Equipment Operation classes, Illumination Society courses and apprenticeship schooling are examples of the efforts put forth outside the normal work day by Hi-Tech employees in their quest to achieve quality.
Establishing a health insurance plan, disability plan, retirement plan, paid holidays, and vacations have shown employees a strong commitment from Hi-Tech ownership, allowing us to retain quality personnel at all levels, from upper management to entry level electricians.
Our Management Team
Chase Canfield, Chairman/President/Director of HTE since 1985 - Chase has been president of HTE from its inception in Dallas and has overseen the expansion of HTE into the Houston, Pasadena and New Orleans markets. He was formerly Vice-President and Regional Manager for Major Construction Services, Dallas. Chase previously served as a commercial and industrial project manager for Fisk Electric Company and a project engineer for Brown & Root in Houston.
Mike Hodge, Chief Financial Officer/Director of HTE since 1985 - Mike has been Chief Financial Officer/Director of HTE from its inception in 1985. He was formerly Vice-President of Finance for Major Construction Services and Dallas divisional controller for Fisk Electric Company.
Charles M. Nettles, PE, Director of HTE since 1985 - Charlie currently is owner and president of Tex-Trude, Inc. a plastics company located in Houston, Texas. He was formerly Vice-President and Regional Manager for Fisk Electric Company, Dallas. Charlie previously served as a project manager and sales engineer for Fisk Electric Company and a project engineer for Brown & Root in Houston.
Clarke Battle, VP and New Orleans Manager of HTE since 1989 - Clarke started HTE New Orleans in 1989 and has grown this division to a peak revenue of 13 million in 2005 and has averaged 11 million per year over the last five years. Clarke was formerly Vice-President and Operations Manager for Fisk Electric Company, New Orleans. Clarke previously served as General Manager for Al-Qahtani-Fisk Electric Company of Saudi Arabia and Project manager for Fisk in New Orleans.
Pat Russo, VP and New Orleans North Shore Manager of HTE since 2006 - Pat previously served as New Orleans Industrial Manager since 1989 and worked with Clarke in organizing the New Orleans office with a focus on industrial work. He was formerly Industrial Manager for Fisk Electric Company, New Orleans. Pat previously served as an estimator and project manager for Fisk Electric Company.
Ken Sauer, VP and Houston Commercial Manager of HTE since 1991 - Ken started HTE Houston Commercial in 1991 and has grown this division to a peak revenue of 15 million in 2005 and has averaged 10 million per year over the last five years. He also previously served as a Project Manager and Estimator for HTE in Dallas from 1985 to 1990. Prior to his joining HTE in 1985, Ken served as a Project Manager for Hertz Electric and a General Superintendent for L.J.P. Electric in the Dallas area.
Mike Hanley, VP and Dallas Manager since 2004 - Mike served as Assistant Manager of HTE Dallas from 2000 to 2004. He also previously served as Chief Estimator for HTE Dallas from 1988 to 2000.
